Remember the rule about first impressions?



OK, since I've been here I've been making cards and things for swaps. I made these cute notebooks with the Baroque Motifs Set. I cannot believe that I almost passed on this great set simple because I thought the colors in the preview were horrible. Thank heavens for Split Coast. If I hadn't seen that cute card in the gallery, I never would have gotten this set. I CASE'd it too but can't recall who it belonged to.

All you need is a stamp, ink, and some cardstock. Mostly I use 1 stamp set and a sentiment. I can write a short note on the inside or write it on a post-it so that it can be shared with another person or 2. Valentine Sneak Peek

I'm holding a Valentine class this month. Actually there are 3 sessions. One is this Saturday, the 19th at 2 pm. The next one is the following Saturday, January 26th at 5pm and the last one is Wednesday January 30th at 6 pm. The Saturday classes will be held at my home. The class on the 30th will be held at the library. Class fee is $13.  Here's the 1st of 4 cards. Cards will come with a matching envelope. We'll also be making a 3-D item with candy.

VC_Rocks Blog Hop- Punches and Big Shot

This is the final blog hop for the summer of VC_Rocks. We're featuring punches, Simply Scored and Big Shot fun. If you're following the hop you came from Carey Roger's Blog . Didn't you like her card made with the framelit? Too cute! If you missed the start of the hop, you can get a complete list at the  VC_rocks blog I always loved our punches. I love how it's easy to punch out a stamped image and then center it on a matte. Maybe you want to punch the matte too. Anyway. I own almost all of our current punches and have tons of retired ones as well. I have so many that I keep them in 3 locations. I have some in a shoe holder on the back of my craft room door, some more on a rail on the wall and still others in a desk drawer. Here's some pics of my scattered punch storage.
