They're my favorite thing to tuck into a pocket, a lunch, into the envelope with the hostess pack, into a customer order, to use as a gift tag, etc. They are super simple to make. All you need is a stamp, ink, and some cardstock. Mostly I use 1 stamp set and a sentiment. I can write a short note on the inside or write it on a post-it so that it can be shared with another person or 2. I chose a new stamp set, Serene Silhouettes (page 75 of the new 2012-2013 catalog), to use on these cards. VC_Rocks Blog Hop- Punches and Big Shot

This is the final blog hop for the summer of VC_Rocks. We're featuring punches, Simply Scored and Big Shot fun. Maybe you want to punch the matte too. Anyway. I own almost all of our current punches and have tons of retired ones as well. I have so many that I keep them in 3 locations. I have some in a shoe holder on the back of my craft room door, some more on a rail on the wall and still others in a desk drawer. Here's some pics of my scattered punch storage. Fancy Folds and 3-D items: Birthday Ideas

I signed up to do the Blog Hop for vc_rocks. It's all about using fancy folds and 3-D items. Here's a couple things I did recently. Be sure to click on  VC_Rocks blog  to see all the blogs with great ideas. This is the card closed. It's 4 inches by 4 inches all folded. This is the inside. The Happy Birthday stamp can be found in the Age Awareness stamp set #135381 It's a photopolymer set (clear and very sticky) $15.95. You can purchase it from  June's Stampin' Up! website   I call this card a box fold because it folds like you would close a box when you don't have tape. Be careful when tucking in the last corner. Since this card doesn't have open edges, it would be a great place to add confetti to surprise someone. Here's a cute candy box that you can add a gift to.
